Ben Cooper, Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art
Welcome to my website. I trust you will find it interesting looking through the various pages, discovering more about Chinese ceramics and works of art, and in particular their unique forms and styles.
My deep interest in Chinese art began whilst studying History of Art and Archaeology at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. Upon leaving there I worked at Sotheby's in the Chinese department, which took me on to work as an assistant curator for an exhibition of Chinese Ceramics at the Royal Academy of Arts in 1999. Since then I have set up my own business as an independant dealer in Chinese ceramics and works of art. In 2006 I became a member of LAPADA and CINOA.
In the past few years, whilst exhibiting at many of the most prestigious fairs in the UK, I have been priviledged to be invited onto the vetting committees, most notably the NEC and Penman Fairs.
Regular fairs at which I exhibit include, The Winter Olympia Antiques and Fine Art Fair, London LAPADA at Burlington House, The National Antiques and Fine Art Fair, NEC and NEC Antiques For Everyone, as well as leading provincial fairs.
